  • We are seeking a Project Management Intern to support our construction team in managing custom home projects from design to completion. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in residential construction project management, learn about high-end home building, and work alongside industry professionals.     Responsibilities

    • Assist project managers in coordinating and overseeing custom home construction projects.

    • Track project progress, schedules, and budgets.

    • Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth workflow.

    • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor quality and adherence to plans.

    • Help manage project documentation, including permits, contracts, and change orders.

    • Identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction process.

    • Support in procurement and materials management.

    • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency strategies.

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Construction Science, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

    • Passion for custom home building and residential construction.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management software is a plus.

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.

    • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Field Services & Warranty Technician – Full-Time On-Site

Brabec Custom Homes is hiring a Field Services & Warranty Technician to assist with hands-on tasks across our active construction sites and recently completed homes. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality work, has a proactive mindset, and enjoys being in the field every day.

This role combines construction labor with post-completion home maintenance and warranty support. You'll play a key part in ensuring job sites are clean, professional, and ready for client walkthroughs, while also handling small repair tasks and coordinating subcontractors for more technical warranty & maintenance work.

  • Jobsite Support:

    • Daily cleaning and organization of active job sites

    • Sweeping, trash removal, and general site upkeep

    • Transporting materials or tools as needed

  • Punch List & Finish Work:

    • Paint touch-ups, drywall patches, minor trim work, caulking

    • Assist with final prep and presentation of homes before client delivery

  • Warranty Service:

    • Visit completed homes to assess and complete minor warranty items

    • Communicate warranty needs to project managers

    • Schedule and meet subcontractors for specialized repairs when necessary

  • Client-Facing Presence:

    • Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor in all client interactions

    • Represent the Brabec Custom Homes brand with pride and reliability

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • Prior hands-on construction or laborer experience preferred, but not required

    • Willingness to learn and grow into more responsibility

  • Skills:

    • Comfortable with basic hand tools and light construction tasks

    • Detail-oriented and takes initiative without constant supervision

    • Strong communication and time management

    • Trustworthy and dependable — punctuality is a must

  • Requirements:

    • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

    • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in variable conditions

Compensation & Work Details

  • Pay: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
